“Regarding the matter, we were wrong. What we have called matter is only energy that has slowed down its vibration in order to be perceptible to our senses. There is no matter. “
– Albert Einstein
Humanity is becoming more and more conscious of it: All is energy. Which means that our thoughts, our words and our actions are. And if our thoughts carry an energy, they have a power of attraction and repulsion, we agree?
According to the National Science Foundation, the average person has 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day. Already, it’s stunning, but wait. 95% of these thoughts are the same as the day before and 80% of them are negative.
Let’s talk about the 95% repetitive first. On the one hand, it’s almost alarming. On the other hand, it’s normal. This is normal because we think and act as we have always done. Otherwise, we would reinvent the wheel every day, we would never stop being in the works. So far, that does not give me too many problems. Where I see one, however, is in the combination of 95% repetitive thoughts + 80% negative thoughts = our daily mental activity.
Where are we going with this equation?
Certainly not towards the creation of a new future, let us clear about it. If our thoughts were mostly positive and we were repeating them, that would be good enough. But we repeat every day the same negative thoughts and for what reason? Because they fit our comfort zone, maybe? If you want my opinion, our comfort zone sometimes becomes a thin straw carpet that is not comfortable at all but on which we persist in sleeping because at the end of the day, that’s what we have always done. If 95% of our thoughts are repetitive, then 95% of our behavior will be so, it’s mathematical.
Well, now that we are aware of the nature of our ego, how do we make more place for our true nature? In many ways, there is not one, but the bottom line is to become aware of our destructive thoughts. There are several ways to do it. By practicing meditation and mindfulness, for example. Then, we will have to see how to transform those thoughts that cling to our unconscious, by the tapping (EFT) or the method of 2 points, among others.
We are in an era of enormous change. People are choosing more and more, they are opening up to the world and to themselves, they are more attentive to nature and their own nature. It is good that we become more and more aware of these 60,000 daily thoughts and begin to understand that they have power over our lives. A power of construction or a power of destruction, it’s up to us.
Being aware of the energy that lives in us and creates us is no longer a purely spiritual thing. It’s a quantum reality that we all take part in, whether we like it or not. As well enjoy it!
