In Strasbourg, where the European Court of Human Rights considered the case of Russian person with extrasensory perception Grigori Grabovoi, he was awarded 2.4 thousand euros compensation for false accusation, for which he spent 2 years in prison.
Traditional healer and extrasensory Grigori Grabovoi, who became widely known for his statements that he could revive the dead, was accused of quackery and fraud, he was charged with several criminal articles. In particular, the case included 11 counts of fraud, based on which Tagansky court of the capital sentenced him to 11 years in prison in 2008.
However, after 2 years Grabovoi was released from prison and appealed to the European Court, which, as we see, has not only acquitted him, but demanded compensation in a fairly large amount for unlawful detention in jail.
