Do you expect a strong “yes” to emerge from your inner being to move to the next step? Perhaps you have the feeling that he is slow in coming … Here is something that I learned, and that took me a little by surprise, as it goes against the beliefs that I cultivated: sometimes you can just decide to be ready. Or healed. Often, of course, we have very little control. The only thing we can do is create an indoor climate that promotes our healing or preparation. Nature must put its magic to work, and trying to force the process will only slow it down. But what is just as true, and what we tend to forget, Reality-Choice, is that it eventually reaches a point where the process is more or less completed, and where the only thing it misses is our decision to close it. The enzymes of life have acted, and now is the time to move on. This is the moment when we choose to swallow the pill completely … the one where we begin to deviate our attention from the old story, even if the flow of our thoughts constantly tries to bring us back to this one. The one where we open our heart again, without the certainty of having understood everything, everything healed, or all deserved. Not because something special happened …

Just because we want to. Each stage requires something different. A bit like a plant that would need abundant watering in the beginning, then frequent cuts and sunshine, our needs change over time. And the thing that will deliver us today may be the one that has already flayed us. Sometimes pushing yourself would be a form of violence, and sometimes it’s the most loving approach. Sometimes we need to wait for a click, and sometimes only we can provoke it. “Forcing things” is not necessarily negative. If we leave things to themselves, they tend to perpetuate themselves. The line can be very thin between respecting our state and getting bogged down … And we can wait to be ready for a long time without realizing that it is up to us to take the lead. You have the right to be unfaithful to what surrounds you and to what dwells in you. You have the right to write a whole new story and reinvent yourself. The big day is not the day when you will become an improved version of yourself, or one where you will be perfectly in harmony … It is the one, simply, that you will have chosen.
