You must wish for harmony and peace, even though you know that difficulties and opposition are essential to progress. It is important to understand this: those who wish for harmony and peace without having previously learned to overcome difficulties, are preparing a life of disorder and distress for themselves.
Why? Because true harmony and true peace are rewards given only to those who have conquered hardship by manifesting qualities of disinterestedness, kindness and patience. When such people have to endure trials, they are not troubled by them; they neither suffer nor make others suffer, because they have learned to transform, improve and make use of everything.
Thanks to a prolonged work of patience and perseverance, they have built up a relationship with heaven and with the luminous entities who live there, and so it can be said they have attained genuine peace and harmony.
