You complain of feeling sad and depressed; you say that nobody loves you, that you are all alone.
Well, this is because you do not know how to produce any fruit.
Look at fruit trees: in winter, they are dark and dull, and nobody is interested in them. But when they are covered in flowers and fruit, people who are out for a stroll, children and lovers are often among them.
It is not surprising that some people never have any visitors; it is a direct result of their deplorable mentality. At some point, they decided that it would be wiser and much less trouble not to produce fruit!
Most people share this mentality; but as long as they produce neither flowers, nor fruit, nor scent, they will always be miserable and neglected, both inwardly and outwardly.
Why have they not worked to give something? You are never alone when you give. We must all blossom and bear fruit; this is the best way to escape from our wretchedness.
