Human beings are not in the habit of spending their time in activities that could change their lives. They neglect meditation, contemplation and prayer even though these practices could improve their lives by releasing forces within them capable of transforming and neutralizing their negative states.
Yet, even with regard to our physical health, it is much better to live the spiritual life.
Take away a person’s spiritual life and all that is left is the biological life that enables them to eat, sleep, and move about. Without that intense inner vibration to stimulate and vivify them, even their physical functions gradually begin to slow down and become sluggish, thus producing a build-up of waste that overloads their organism.
So, if only for the sake of your health, try to live an active spiritual life.
