And if your heart is centered on God, you are 'safe at home' everywhere. In this day and time of continuing change, many people find themselves moving a great deal, and constantly having to try to make yet one more place "like home." Yet home is a quality you bring to a place, not a quality that a place brings to you. Let yourself feel at home anywhere and people everywhere will welcome you always. And isn't a place where you are always welcome...'home'? So feel good where you are right now. That's mastery. Neale Donald Walsch
What works when there is a disagreement is love. That may sound simplistic, but it is true -- and very sound. Ask yourself, What do I want here? What is really important? Look to see if there is a difference between being 'right' and being 'accurate.' Accuracy can be very helpful, and therefore welcome. Righteousness rarely is either. Neale Donald Walsch
Napoleon Hill said that, and he was right. Nothing ensures success like ensuring another's success. And there is someone who is looking for your help and your support today. Lift that person up, give that person credit, do whatever you can to help that person be a success. And always remember: What goes around, comes around. Neale Donald Walsch
Do you expect a strong "yes" to emerge from your inner being to move to the next step? Perhaps you have the feeling that he is slow in coming ... Here is something that I learned, and that took me a little by surprise, as it goes against the beliefs that I cultivated: sometimes you can just decide to be ready. Or healed. Often, of course, we have very little control. The only thing we can do is create an indoor climate that promotes our healing or preparation. Nature must put its magic to work, and trying to force the process will only slow it down. But what is just as true, and what we tend to forget, Reality-Choice, is that it eventually reaches a point where the process is more or less completed, and where the only thing it misses is our decision to close it. The enzymes of life have acted,...
The Larger Part of You that is eternally connected with the Larger Part of Everything, called God, has actually been "processing your order" for a while now. You don't have to speak it for it to be known. So...the good news today is that your Perfect Outcome is on its way. Bless, now, what shows up, and embrace it with gratitude. This is the beginning of the rest of your life. Neale Donald Walsch
In truth, we're all wearing The Emperor's New Clothes. We parade before the world naked--thinking that no one can see us. Why not just be proudly revealed, and authentically who we are? And do not worry about being rejected and alone. It is the real you that everyone falls in love with-- and that God adores. You will not have to think but a second to know exactly why you received this message today. Neale Donald Walsch
So do not resist change, embrace it. Life is changing all the time -- and certainly the day-to-day conditions on our planet are changing now in ways we could not have expected -- so the fact of change is real, and very present. Our invitation from life is to not let changes get us down, but to lift ourselves up, and move past them. Neale Donald Walsch
It is tempting, during difficult times, to feel very much alone, as if you are taking this journey in solo form, with no one at your side, and no one on your side. Nothing could be further from the truth. You are an aspect of The Divine. God lives in you, through you. "I am with you always, even unto the end of time" are not just pretty words. They are truth. Neale Donald Walsch
Tell your truth as soon as you know it. Yet tell it gently, kindly, and with compassion for the hearer. Someone needs to hear the truth from you today... but that person also needs your deep compassion as you speak it. Seek to say what needs to be said with softness, and with a wide open heart. Remember, the truth can hurt... but it hurts a lot less if you care how it feels while saying it. Neale Donald Walsch
Martin Luther King Jr. said that, and he was right. And his wisdom holds true not only for peace in our world, but for peace within ourselves. All of our spiritual traditions teach the same thing. To achieve peace, be peace. Yet how does one be what one is wishing to experience? By a sheer act of Will. And...by causing others to experience what you wish to experience. Neale Donald Walsch
It can actually get you going. The things that really matter in life often become more clear to us when we encounter bad news or bad luck. We can use such moments to expand our experience of our most precious treasures: the people that we love. Now may be a wonderful time to get back to basics, like board games with your children, quiet talks with your friends, a moment of gentleness with your spouse. Neale Donald Walsch
To want something is reason enough to choose it. No need for more, no need for anything else. It's not because it's a good idea that you should do it. It's not because it's on your way that you have to take it. Just because you have a gift does not mean you have to use it. Wanting one thing is not only a good reason to make a choice ... it's the only one. Yes, to want is enough. It's enough to separate you, to move, to change jobs ... To say yes as to say no. The only question is: where do you feel called? All the rest (except of course moral considerations and commitments to respect) is just the weather. "It's my choice" is a complete sentence. Maybe you sometimes feel it's not enough ... But the only thing it's missing, maybe, is a point at the end to finish it. Marie
Good Thursday! I hope you are well. :) I am writing from Santa Barbara, where I came to celebrate my birthday and the wedding of a friend. (Not to mention the very practical things I have to deal with.) I recently told you about the delicious feeling of community that has settled in my life ... You can see on the left three of the wonderful people who have contributed to it, with who I celebrated last Saturday. I have a very good imagination, but I can hardly imagine anything more magical than sharing a healthy meal with them. I offer you today a reflection inspired by a conversation with another very beautiful (too beautiful?) Person that I had the happiness to mix lately. I would not be surprised if you recognized it. I'm happy to meet you this morning ... And I hope you find this text...
The movement here is going to be back to basics, back to what matters, back to our true values in families, in relationships, in business and commerce, in politics, and in the world. Do not worry, therefore. This is the Time which has been predicted. And only good will come of it. Neale Donald Walsch
Your inner peace, and the sanctity of your being, are not worth trashing because of some negative feeling you have about something. Just let it go, and return to the knowing and experiencing of who you really are. Try not to abandon the self. Try very hard. In the end, your soul will be so grateful. Neale Donald Walsch
